Results-Driven Rehabilitation

The focus is on getting you back to your best through a combination of manual therapy and specific strength and conditioning. The initial focus is on pain relief, then working on improving your body’s overall performance.

A Clear, Individualised Plan

After a thorough assessment, you receive a tailored treatment plan with a clear roadmap. Killian’s model is built on honesty about what is wrong and exactly how many sessions it should take to reach your goals.

Clinical Independence

Nobody wants to spend their life on a treatment table. Killian provides the knowledge and support you need to manage your condition and practice independent exercises, reducing the need to keep coming back.

Elite Clinical Standards

Every treatment is evidence-based and delivered by a CORU registered therapist. Killian applies the same high-level sports science used with elite athletes to

patients of all ages and activity levels.

Whole-Body Resolution

Killian resolves issues not just at the point of pain, but across the whole body. By looking at movement patterns and compensations, the root cause is identified to ensure the injury does not return.

FAQ

Most injuries improve when the underlying cause is identified and addressed properly. The key is understanding what is driving the pain. If your condition is something physiotherapy can help with, that will be made clear from the first session. If it isn’t, you’ll be advised appropriately.

It depends on the nature of the injury and how long it has been present. For more recent issues, noticeable improvement often happens within a few sessions. Longer-standing or recurring problems may require a structured rehabilitation plan.

The first appointment involves a detailed discussion of your symptoms, training history, and injury background, followed by a physical assessment. Based on this, treatment may include hands-on therapy, dry needling, or mobility work. You’ll also be shown specific exercises and given a clear plan moving forward.

In most cases, complete rest isn’t necessary. Training is often modified rather than stopped altogether. The aim is to keep you moving safely while the injury settles and strength is rebuilt.

Sports massage can be effective for tightness and short-term relief. If pain is recurring, limiting performance, or linked to weakness or movement issues, physiotherapy is usually the better option. If you’re unsure, this can be clarified during your first visit.
